It's a shame but channel 5 have suspended the football italiano website so my guess is not. I think people have an unfair view of Italian football - the games I saw last year were actually very entertaining.

Nope, unless you know James Richardson. He has some bootleg copies of the games

I'd rather sit in a dark room in silence, to be honest. I find Italian football extremely depressing - vast stadiums with hardly anybody there, rubbish football and corrupt cheats behind the scenes. No thanks.

Yup, after I'd had no luck finding it on any channel I checked the web and noticed the same thing.

Agree with you, some of last seasons games were pretty decent and although I would concur with some of Shaggy's comments about empty stadia etc not much beats the passion of a milan derby.

It was nice having the option of catching the game.

Hmm. I don't know abotu that. Italian football is excruciating enough, but when you add John Barnes' co-commentating in to the mix....

Sometimes watching a Juve or Inter or Milan instead of a below par Premiership or Championship game was a good way to start off a Sunday afternoon.

Sorry, I should have answered this properly in the first place.

At present there is no Italian football on or planned for (at least with the current TV company). My brother's ex worked on football Italia when it briefly came back and was canned and has said that it isn't likely to return anytime soon.

I would rather they brought back Bullseye on a Sunday afternoon.

                              Thanks for the enlightenment.

I recall that historically it was always a nightmare agreeing a deal with the Italian broadcaster(s) because I think the rights were split. Now that Sky (Italia) are the main TV provider I assumed things might be a little more straightforward.

                              Obviously this isn't the case.
