I'm one that would never write them off but they dont look right.

In midfield especially they're very weak at the minute. Fletcher was the only one really that stood out and played with a bit of urgency and drive.

They were lucky to leave Chelsea with a point.

They'll probably give some team a good hiding soon and get back on track but there poor displays so far gives us a bit of hope at least.

United are Ronaldo. Without him, they're half the team. Their system is designed to take the best out of him, and all of their players work for him to get the ball and create something.

If he has another good season, which he will because he's a great player, they'll be up there as usual.

hansen tonight and johnny giles (others too ) over the last few days have been talking about the difficulty of trying to accomodate rooney, tevez, ronaldo and berbatov. berbatov has just immediately slotted into the role of "another scum **** to hate very easily".

I thought Rooney was excellent for them today. Worked like a dog, very Kuyt like in his play, defending, tackling, attacking, everthing.

They will start scoring freely again soon now that Ronaldo is back. They will win the next game and go on to have another strong season. Can't possibly write the *******s off.

Only thing is though that iv seen Fergie make a few mistakes already this season. It will be interesting to see how he gets on with Queroz

If they keep dropping points then they wont challenge, simple as.

Even though for the majority of teams todays result would be seen as a point gained. I would take a point at stamford bridge right now.

United have Bolton (H), Blackburn (A), West Brom (H) in the next three games. I can see nine points from there and United overtaking us, judging our inconsistency.

I would have also taken a point away to Chelsea however remember United took the lead and for long times in the game, Chelsea didn't even look like scoring.

Yeah he worked hard but i dont think he's looked threatening to defences as yet this season. Cant really when he's played out wide i suppose.
