Almost irrational in places, some have said it's siege mentality, that it was calculated, but i'm not having that, he sounds too.....emotional..if that's the right word, angry, pissed off with the ****e that's been printed.
I was surprised he couldn't remember which rag had..he said added 'To Newcastle' on the end of the word 'Bollocks'
which he stated was all he had said a couple of days back....naughty if true, but he should have come armed with the name of the paper.
Passionate, but not sure he comes out of it looking too good.Last edited by Vermilion; 03-10-08, 10:43 PM.

Funny they are playing clips of it on 5live now, like you say meltdown, he deteriorates as he go's on.

It was planned, but he did not inform anyone else I bet.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostNo way was that calculated. As you say he was far too emotional and pumped up. Classic "crazy gang" routine. Make it out eeryone has it in for you, take the focus of the players and the board room saga and get a seige mentality going. He used exactly the same tactics with Wimbledon.
Football has moved on since then though, so it remains to be seen if this sort of tactic will work with the likes of Mikey Owen and the rest. Unlikely, as it seems Shay Given and the rest are coming out with negative comments about the manager, as opposed to backing him.
His main problem is that he's short term. Which player is going to risk getting injured by playing out their skin for him? They could be MOTM for 5 games running, but id they're injured when the next manager comes in they'll be out the running.Forwards.......
