On the basis that the Mancs and Everton were so ****e I'll not mention performances by LFC that were better than that.

But Sundays opponents performance over Pompey was better, as have been a couple of the chelsea and Arsenal performances. United did not look that great. Blackburn looked like they had accepted defeat before they kicked off. Yet throughout the game I had the distinct impression that a goal for Rovers would have unbalanced them.

imo our performance over them was better than their performance tonight...quality of opposition taken into consideration obviously.

And with the 1st goal often the hardest to get against the smaller... set up to defend sides, utd have been very lucky of late with two spurious decisions going for them.

I am a Manchester United fan because i rate the way they play and i rate Rio Ferdinand. If i posted the exact same posts i post on here on a man u forum, i would get accused of being the biggest Liverpool fan going. Torres = Gerrard > Ronaldo > Rooney
