To be fair I though both United and Chelsea put in top class performances this weekend. They deserve the praise they made decent (and in Villa's case very good) teams look terrible.

I thought Blackburn looked lacking in a real leader in midfield and anyone who made you feel they could threated United on a regular basis in that area which makes their effort less impressive IMO. In a way though it also showed how good our performance against them was as Blackburn attempted to do the same hustle and force them out of their rhythm thing but failed badly. I thought one of the key differences was that we started it higher up the pitch - shows how good Keane and Kuyt were for us in that game.

I do dislike the way that commentators go overboard for everything United do but they are one of the best teams in the world at the minute and we have to look at them and Chelsea as something to aspire to in many ways.

i have to say it was painful to watch blackburn play!!! - they were SOOOO poor on sat, and i'm suprised cause i thought ince would have had them well up for it. They never closed down, pressed, harrassed the mancs and looked scared to put a tackle in. I thought Blackburn, being at home, might off had a go but they just stood and stared - ince should have got his boots on cause at least then a tackle would have been made
