I don't know, it was a bit hit and hope in reality. Set himself well and made perfect contact, but he'd miss if he tried it again. Watching Messi etc dance around defenders to score demonstrates far more skill and is far more impressive imo. Andy Carroll (or any other meh striker) could have scored Ibra's goal (ok, maybe one time in a thousand), but he could never score one like this

Did not see the match, so I can still safely say I have never seen him in a game where he was not terrible. Good he can turn it on against a second string England team in a meaningless friendly.

Brilliant goal (Andy Carroll will never do that either ). Not suggesting he's not a great player, just commenting on the goal.

That was an amazing goal and he should get all the credit he can get.

I cannot see anybody repeating anything like that in a long, long time.

It was a great goal, he had a second to react, and 999 out of a 1000 would have headed it back or taken it down.

Controling the direction and speed of a ball from that distance is hard enough without doing it overhead, and it's a fantastic goal.

And the audacity of it

Zlatan is one of the best strikers of his generation. And also somewhat of a dick.

However, as far as overhead kicks go (off of the top of my head), it's not as good as Trevor Sinclair's for QPR all those years ago. THAT was amazing.

The ball wasn't coming across the pitch at pace, it was dropping out of the air from pretty much above his head ... all he had to do was connect and cross his fingers.

Very good technique, obv - with a dollop of luck.
