He is found wanting at the very, very top end of the game IMO but like I said there's no shame in that.
I mostly agree. I think this is something that gets levelled at pretty much every top player. If they haven't done anything spectacular in one of the few massive games they play (i.e. against Real or in the CL for Zlatan). People have said it about Ronaldo and Messi too. They are probably the only players who have proved that wrong but then they have had the luxury of being in fabulous teams which really helps. Other than at Barcelona Zlatan has always been the one that makes his team a top end threat. Zlatan's record at international level must put both Messi and Ronaldo to shame I would think, especially considering he';s the only one of the three to play for a country which is not a major power.

I'm not saying Zlatan is in the same league as Messi and Ronaldo but he has to be pretty much at the top of the rung below.

Andy Carroll (or any other meh striker) could have scored Ibra's goal (ok, maybe one time in a thousand), but he could never score one like this

Another point about 'that' goal is that high kicks and alike are his speciality. Search Youtube and you'll see he's always at it. I think he does some sort of martial arts. Anyway, my point is that he's always been good at the acrobatic stuff and that goal was just made for him.

Good on him though, he took it well. Just can't be happy for him as he's blatantly such a ****.

I'd love to know who thinks they're the better player, C.Ronaldo, Zlatan, or Bendtner.

Best goal ever, well hard to say, probably not...rivaldo overhead kick, messi mazing run etc there is a load of unbelievable goals

That said its a ****ing great goal imo, one hell of an effort, brilliant anticipation you actually see him read what is going to happen split seconds before it does, that's just natural instinct to react that way, then the audacity to go for it...and then add he had to get the technique right and then to top it off connect well enough to take the defenders and keeper out of the game, and then find the back of the net from what 35 yards on a bit of angle, fair play to him...top, top class
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

I did read that bit Kenneth, it was this post and the last line in particular I was responding to mate. Similar type of goal no?

So far away from being the best goal ever. Great technique though. The rest was luck.

Wouldn't be in my top 20 goals ever. Not close. Still a great goal.

The goal was just like the type of "passes" Djimi Traore made several times in a game week in week out

Remember that 'pass' Sissoko did that went in to the outer atmosphere for a while.

Where it is in danger of colliding with Neymar and Charlie Adams penalty kicks.
