Those who keep saying lucky goal are on smack - every goal is hit and hope, well all except solo goals. There is an element of technique and luck involved. That's why no 2 spectacular goals are alike. Van Basten's goal was hit and hope - if you had asked him to try that again when he was in his prime, he would probably maybe got 1 attempt close to it out of 100. Gerrard's goal in the FA cup final of 2006 is regarded as the best cup final goal in FA Cup history - well Gerrard at the time said he was too tired and just hit it and he was actually aiming for the other corner to which it ended up!

Hats of to Zlatan - IMO it is the best goal I have ever seen. He has scored some amazing goals in his career. Other are entitled to their own opinion

It was certainly up there for me as one of the greatest, of which there are far too many to mention!

I don't want to make this into something its not but for me players like Gerrard score great goals because of belief and confidence. They know they are the best and think that way every game. It seems like these moments are tailor made for them. Ibra thinks he is better than anyone else. Sometimes he will try something audacious but he does it with such conviction and belief in himself that it often comes off. He who dares wins. It makes me think of Stewart Downing and a player who has obvious talents and is capable of even fantastic goals at times but his confidence is hardly ever there. The talent alone isn't enough. Positive energy and vibes make such a difference. Its a mysterious thing. Maradona, Messi, Ronaldo, Pele, Van Basten etc etc etc. They all have undeniable talent but its their mentality that takes that to another level.

It was a really good goal, more than anything it was the vision to see the opportunity other than just hit it from 30 yards (like this 3rd goal) – Best ever, no - never. What I don’t understand is why people are saying what he did was easy, “I did this before” **** off - That's why he's been playing for the top teams, for top money all his life.

What another great goal. Technically and aesthetically I prefer this goal, but I don't think it is actually better than Ibra's. Sorry.
