Thanjk you.

I support Norris as i supported Tim Cahill who did a similar thing last year i think.
Showing support for a friend or a brother in prison is not the same as condoning what they did, it's not a minor thing to go to prison let alone to kill someone.
Much like you would support the 3 Bali bombers? I mean it's terrible they got shot hey.

Personally they can all **** off to hell.
sure hang them all, stone norris. That's the way.

i really hope i would say the same yes, but i doubt it because i would probably be full of hate and anger, and i would probably react badly. But that doesn't make what he did any more wrong. My reaction alone as a grieving family member is not enough to hinder that he could show support to his mate. But it would be allot different if he had spoke out about the case and how unjust that is that would have been much more serious.
he didn't commit any crime, he didn't set any bad examples. His action just caught the medias attention and spiraled out of control. There is no need in hanging him for this, the murderer is already in prison and rightly so. He has probably learnt his lesson, and will think twice before doing anything like this in the public eye.
really
so if a young lad says "dad what was that celebration all about ..."
i think your well wide of the mark fella but your entitled to your opinion

we have a stigma over convicts they seem lesser beings, i realize that his actions have caused uncomfort, but his celebration was about his friend and not the children that died. I don't see anything wrong with saying that. I don't feel wrong saying to my children that it's ok to show sympathy or support for convicts after all they are human beings as well.

I didn't mean that but supporting someone publicly after they've done something so bad is not a good thing.
i know it's viewed like that but i view it differently. i don't see it as condoning what he did. But as a friend i think it's ok to publicly show support for him, and even though the family has been hurt by this and i saddened by that i can really see that he meant no disrespect to them, but supporting a man in prison.

I disagree Diego. Those kind of outpourings should be kept private.
Is his friend likely to see it in prison?
well if they have is nicely as they do in the prisons in Iceland i'm sure he'll see it, it's a ****ing island resort
i agree with that in hindsight it would have been better if he hadn't done it. But i am strongly against any action against him by the FA.

Uncomfort is not a word i'd use, more like severe distress. The fact that he chose to show this support during a moment of joy (for the ipswich fans) is a slap in the face to the parents whose children were taken away from them at such a young age by his mates stupidity and disregard for anyone else on the planet.
I'm sorry, no offense to you, but I can't see how anyone can justify or defend his actions at all.
I just don't see the world so black and white, i'm sorry if that is my defect. I am not diminishing my condolences to the victims family. But you ask 'how you (me) as a decent person support a guy who got into his car pissed and mowed down 2 kids and left their father crippled?' It may be quite surprising to you but friends and family for the most parts support the offender through prison, people realize the actions and the wrong doings yet support the person. People make mistakes in life, there are plenty on this site that have gone drinking and driving, or at least done so once. Many of those will probably claim a moment of madness or a one time mistake, and some of these people will talk very harshly against something like this. The man that killed those kids will carry that cross for the rest of his life, i don't expect anyone to feel sorry for him, but it's not a one sided thing and there are victims with in his side of the family that has to suffer for this great tragedy. I do believe that you can support him through this with out belittling the crime he committed.
What a condescending pile of left wing bollocks!
This kind of thinking is rife in Haringey and look at the results there. Smackheads and morons who should have been sterilised years ago being allowed to continuously torture a child...not for the first time, and not wanting to do anything about it because.."ha ha, sorry, but you obviously don't understand, the world isn't that simple"
Sometimes, the world really is Black and White.

sure i see why the mother would be upset, and i don't blame her for saying that Norris was by doing this saying that driking and driving was ok. But i understand her anger and frustration would cloud her mind, but i would think that other people can see that by supporting his mate in prison he meant no disrespect towards the victims family. If he would have said that the punishment was unjust or belittled the crime i would be right there with you speaking out against him, but he didn't and i see it as two completely different matters, to support the person that committed this horrendous murders is not the same as condoning the murders them self. The offender has family and friends, that family and friends are shell shocked and are themselves going through a difficult time, some will support him through this others will not, but i think you'll be surprised how many people will stick with him and try and help him through this.
i understand the mothers anger, but there are more sides to the story, it's not just a black and white picture, there are allot of people involved in this, and i just don't see the support of this person as an insult to these victims lives. If he would have belittled the crime or had he spoken out about the unjust punishment than that could have be interpreted as such but not a signal of support.
Well that's white of you. I'm sure she'll be well pleased.
I'll say no more on the matter.
I am currently listening to the results of the torturous murder of 'Baby P'
There were 60 visits and the child had horrendous injuries.
They are blaming each other andd will get no more than 5 years each tops. Serve 2?
When I read your comments, it just sounded like the Haringey councillors making excuses and taking moral high ground without looking around at the consequences.
