well, my first thoughts when i saw this thread were - i'm going to open it, read about 4 or 5 posts calling drogba a cunt before someone mentions carra did it

When there's such a clear precedent the FA would be stupid not to dole out the same punishment.

Look at what Fergie got away with last season. Many, many clear precedent cases and he didn't get punished.

Terry's red card that was withdrawn and the ref punished shows that the FA will do whatever it takes to help some clubs out.

I think the FA can be gutless and Fergie's been slagging off refs for years and escaping charges but I think this is a bit different.

They can easily get away with it saying that the ref booked him and that they can't upgrade the yellow card to a red.
