    Ince sacked

    Poor guv'nor.

    Oh well.

That was coming for a while.

Given their league position and the dubious nature of sime of his purchase I don't think he can complain. He looked out of his depth from the beginning.

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

He was going to get sacked yesterday but the chairman was returning from his sons wedding which was on the weekend.

I wonder who they will go for now? Surely the whole idea of sacking a manager is that you have someone is ready and willing to get the club back up. I don't think Hungry Hippo, Sam Allardyce will want it because he is stuck too far up his own rear end, Curbs is good at very few things. They need someone who can galvanise the side, no not Souness, talking a long lines of Strachan although why would he leave his position at cushy Celtic so he could battle in one of the most fierce leagues in the world.

Blackburn could fall apart if they don't bring in a 'big' name - think they'll need to pull out all the stops to try and appease the likes of Santa Cruz.

Could see it being Avram Grant or Allardyce. Don't think Quinn will be daft enough to appoint Sam simply because of the backlash.

Paul Jewell would have been an option but his stock has fallen.

                  Really? That's flabbergasting.

If they reappoint Souness they're heading straight to the Championship.

Souness' managerial record is patchy at best, but to be fair he did do a half decent job when he was there before.

There could be cost issues that force them to go for someone currently unattached. If they're short on cash they don't want to be paying big compensation to Ince and then to another club.

I guess he did okay there but if I was a Blackburn fan his appointment wouldn't inspire any confidence. As a manager he has been more miss than hit. I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.

Think they did the right thing. Their squad is good enough to stay up and a likely bounce with a new manager will certainly help. They'll be in the PL next season with a proper manager.

                              And Ince is a dick.
