    Wenger sticky

I really like Arsenal as a team but Arsene Wenger is the biggest cock ever. Never sees anything wrong and has NEVER been graceful after a defeat, believes his players are bullied and that every decision is unfair.

I propose we have a whinge tracker for the rest of the season.

Sticky or not here is the first entry dated 26/12/2008:

Arsenal are still title contenders, according to boss Arsene Wenger. (Daily Express)

But Aston Villa, two places and three points above Arsenal in the table going into their Boxing Day fixture, are not contenders in Wenger's view. (Various)

    Cue 2-2 draw...

What do you expect him to say? No we are out the title race? That would be pretty stupid message to send out would it not?

Why is it okay for me, you and everyone other football fan to rule Villa out of the race but not Wenger? I know you mean he would look like a nicer guy if he said they had a chance but we all know they don't. Wenger is right, he would look like a fool if he told everyone that Villa were genuine contenders

He has said Arsenal are out of the race more times than I can remember and why haven't Villa got as much chance as Arsenal?

If you think he isn't a whinger then that is up to you

Wenger is one of the biggest hypocrites in football and I can't see why Villa are out of the title race.

Wenger really gets on my tits. Remember when he said us getting to the CL final was like milwall reaching the FA Cup final. Show some respect to the 5 time european champions you bitter ****. ****ing loved it when barca beat them in the final the followig year as i was on holiday which made it all the more enjoyable. LOL 2 european finals for the bitter **** and won FA! He is a good manager when it is going well but when it goes tits up he is clueless and the worst loser i have ever seen.

Face it wenger you have ****ed up big time by not replacing your good players like viera, Henry ect.

He is taking bitterness to unprecedented levels. I think the bloke has actually lost his marbles.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger hit out at Aston Villa after their assistant boss John Robertson visited the referee at half-time in the sides' 2-2 draw.

Villa boss Martin O'Neill said Robertson asked official Lee Mason about a first-half decision.

Wenger said: "I know how it works here. At half-time the referee gets stick and then in the second half every little 50-50 decision goes the other way.

"I waited at half-time to see what happened and I was not disappointed."

He added: "That's what happened. It's not only here."

Asked if he was implying that someone from Villa influenced the referee, Wenger added: "I have nothing to explain more than that. I know what is going on here."
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

LOL the bitter idiot will be charged by the FA now for saying that ****. Great management skills that is. I think wenger has lost the plot and is too much of a gob****e to bollock his players as most of them are as moody as he is so he blames everyone else. Its not the refs fault that his players cannot defend.

He also suggested we didn't deserve a draw with them which anyone who watched the match would know was utter ****e.

LOL Nigel winterburn saying on sky that the gallas pen in the villa game was 50/50 and any other game it would have been given as a foul on gallas!!!

                    IDIOT!

Nah, overall i do agree with you on wenger but just not on the specific point you made. He's a great coach but he annoys me these days. He's lost control and his inability to replace Viera for all these years has been crazy. He does whinge too much and some of his decisions are bizarre these days

I read an article the other day that Wenger's outburst seem less calculated at the minute. I have to say I think that they are every bit as thought out as before the trouble is that the nature of the under performance he is trying conceal has changed. Usually he is explaining a lack of excelling but at the minute he is having to defend a position where the team are actually failing to meet their minimum requirements i.e. being in the top four. Usually he has a specific target or at most two who he can concentrate his deflecting attacks on while scattering in a few referee influencing comments (as nearly all top managers do since Fergie showed that it pays dividends).

He has always been a moaning git, it's just that more is made of these things by the media when someone is down. The percentage of glowing reviews of the passing and movement of Arsenal to criticism of their lack of effectiveness and **** defending has altered which is nice as in recent years the harping on about the gloy of Arsenal has started to irk me.

I really think he needs to drop some of his idealism to get through the current problems and buy and experienced and defensively strong central midfielder.

Oh it's calculated alright but it's from a position of weakness as you say. He weak mind games don't work when they are performing so badly. Arsenal were out of contention about 2 months ago if memory serves me right.

He moans and makes excuses because thats his way of giving his players belief and exempting them from public criticism. Its similar to Mourinho's Psychology, Wenger thinks he can restore his players confidence if puts the attention on other issues rather than their own underperformance.

I just don't understand how such a proven good coach can not see where he is going wrong with that team. Fabregas is one of the best most creative CM's in the world and he clearly needs a solid, tough tackling defensive midfielder to protect him and get the best out of him. Instead he persists with skinny little, can't tackle Denilson. WTF

He badly needs a big tough centre half too, essentially his team has no spine down the middle of the park and i think its so obvious. Eboue is **** btw, dunno how he can't see it

I think Almunia is a good keeper but not world class and thats what they need if they want to compete at the top now. Ourselves, Chelsea and Man Utd have world class keepers, Arsenal do not. GK is not a priority for them though
