Quite right. Admittedly, its probably the FA not wanting to do some extra work. Lazy bureaucratic *******s.

If so they are doing it in entirely the wrong way. Everyone would be better off if referees were allowed to be seen to be honest and the FA seen to want justice done. As it is everyone looks stupid.

To be honest I think whatever your interpretation of the sending off it was an honest decision and any retraction was made upon reflection on TV evidence which is fair enough. Admitting such does no one any harm even if it might leave Chelsea fans feeling aggrieved (not that they weren't already).

I'm sure Steve Claridge is the most incompetent pundit around. He claimed Bosingwa was messing about with Benayoun and it wasn't serious foul play. Around those words but he did say it wasn't serious foul play. Go on iplayer and listen to The Monday Night Club.

Agreed. The linesman was flagging and i think it was for the foul. By then, the ref was doing his calm down routine so the linesman assumed he had acknowedged the offense and wasn't giving it.

I thought that but even if the linesman was flagging for the Bosingwa stamp he was pointing his flag completely the wrong way for it.

They're a ****in law unto themselves, so called rules twisted when they want them twisted is how it works with the FA.rce.
