      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Arsenals squad is about the same size as Villas, will be hard to know who will collapse first. The one advantage Villa has is there players seem hungrier than Arsenals players, which might help them fight to the finish.

Not sure about that, Arsenal have a much bigger & better squad than Villa.

They've recently had Eduardo, Rosicky, Fabregas, Walcott, Arshavin and Adebayor all out and have still been able to field some pretty strong lineups.

Take out 6 of Villa's established players and see what it leaves them with.

Not to sure I would agree that Arsenal have fielded some pretty strong line ups, they have looked pretty weak in all areas of their game throughout December and January and it has shown in their results.
I would say that Arsenals proper first team if everyone was fit is better than Villa but all over I dont think there is too much difference.

Arsenal, once all their players are back and fit should have a fantastic array of attacking talent, the problem for Wenger is, where does he put all of them?

Hmmm, i get what you're saying and of course without all those players, they are weaker than they would be, but i still think they can field a strong lineup:

                Almunia
                Sagna
                Toure
                Gallas
                Clichy
                Nasri
                Denilson
                Diaby
                Vela
                Bendtner
                Van Persie

You'd need to have Vela playing wide left, with Nasri wide right. Granted Diaby and Denilson arent world class but strong centre midfielders are what they lack anyway, injuries or not. They have flair but not much steel. But that eleven there, even without Adebayor, Rosicky, Arshavin, Eduardo, Fabregas and Walcott included, that's a strong lineup. The back four is very good, the wide midfielders are good and the front pair isnt particularly weak.
