    Want:

Newcastle: They can finally be a big club, although in a lower division

    Stoke: Tony Pulis.

Middlesborough: Just for sheer amusement, Southgate would possibly get sacked, then he would be able to afford face reconstruction.

    Think:

    Newcastle

    West Brom

    Middlesborough

Stoke definitely safe now with 42 points, hate them all you like, but that's quite an achievement!

Magpies must not go down - Beye

Newcastle United defender Habib Beye has warned his team-mates they must not allow the club to be relegated from the Premier League this season.

Beye, 31, has been a regular in Alan Shearer's side since returning from injury and has stressed the importance of keeping the club in the top flight.

"We are one of the biggest clubs in England and we cannot drop into the Championship," he told BBC Newcastle.

"We as players have a responsibility and must take that responsibility."

The former Marseille full-back has become a fans favourite at St James' Park since making a £2m move to Tyneside in August 2007.

The Senegalese international has an equally strong bond with the club, and hopes that safety can be secured, starting with Monday's crucial Tyne-Tees derby with Middlesbrough at St James' Park.

"The reality is that we're in the bottom three, and if the season ended now, then we'd be relegated," he said.

"We have a big game on Monday and I think we have the responsibility to win this game."

Newcastle are level with Middlesbrough on 31 points in 18th place, with Boro a place below them and West Bromwich Albion at the bottom of the table.

Thats why i want them to go down. Have not won anything or been a force for years and yet they think their a big club?

The reason they get a big fan base is becuase they are the only club in newcastle FFS. If everton was not around liverpool would be the only club in the city and so everyone would support us.

Arrogant ****ers newcastle and the deserve championship football.

I want both Newcastle and Middlesborough to go down, I'm not really bothered who else I don't mind either Hull or West Brom.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I guess so, but you're just saying that as you have a soft spot for West Brom.

I think if Hull stay up they'll struggle and go down next season

Boro can **** off as far as i'm concerned, we never win there.

Newcastle = 6 points for us, but it'll also be funny to see them gone.

Wouldnt mind if Hull stay up, we'll take them for 6 points next year.

Let's say Utd are champions come saturday. We should just let west brom win on sunday, just so it means newcastle get relegated.
