seems he likes that big man up top.....curious for a man who has allegedly the best passing teams in the premiership would have thought a vela/van persie combo would work well

I'll go with that. I think Bendtner's play and touch outside the area is very good, linking with the midfield which maybe why Wenger has persisted with him.

Vela/Van Persie/Eduardo. Take your pick out of those 3, they're all scary. Both Vela and Eduardo are excellent finishers

Add to that Arshavin, Nasri (to some extent) Walcott, Rosicky. Its a very good attacking line up.

Did anyone see the little chip pass Vela did yesterday. Absolute class this lad

if wenger got his head out of his ass, realised he needed a masher type along with a couple of experienced players they could be a real threat

If they start next year well it could be interesting although there confidence seems to be shattered so easily.

Naturally he seems to be getting a free ride in the press, with the wolves instead baying for Benitez's blood as usual. Wenger makes a lot of curious decisions and persists with **** or out-of-form players (Eboue being a prime example) but never seems to get questioned or criticised.
Actually a lot of Arsenal fans I have talked to of late have started coming round to Bendtner. Largely they would rather he was on the bench but they appreciate the work he is doing for other people and helping the rest of the team play. Although they all say that he can only finish when he comes off the bench - so basically he is the new Tore Andre Flo.
