Every player i've ever heard talk about this sort of scenario says they want a game soon as possible after a bad result.

I hope so, but i cant see how it could get much worse for them. They're rocking at the moment, and they've now got time to consolidate and compose themselves.

The only good thing is that when we lose, i cant wait for the next game to rectify it - and footballers are the same. In their case, they'll be stewing on these two defeats for a fortnight.

well hopefully villa will have a point to prove after being stuffed by us, and fulham will still be on a high after beating scum.

Pompey at Old Trafford. But dont worry about that one, they still have Arsenal, Spurs, Man City and Villa to visit OT plus they have to go to Boro, Sunderland and Wigan. They'll drop the points. We just have to win every game.

I think Scholes will only have a one match ban, it wasnt for violent conduct so it wont be 2 or 3 games (unless he's already seen red this season?).

Rooney's will be one game because it was two yellow cards - unless the FA grows a pair and increases it because of his petulance, but i wouldnt hold my breath.

Their next game is Villa at Old Trafford and they'll be missing Vidic, Scholes, Rooney and hopefully Berbatov will not recover in time.

Unless of course, the Berbatov injury is a ploy just to get him out of international duty next weekend.

Manc fan on Talksport having a go at Collymore for saying Berbatov was taken off 1 minute into 2nd half (Collymore was accused of making out Ferguson did it to humiliate him) when he came off at HT. The manc was ranting that Talksport were making a story out of something which didnt happen. Rant rant rant "There's no story here, no phone-in to have"
