    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

For the last few hours I'd forgotten about football...but **** me I hope so much United go out tonight. I'm desperate for them to go out.

We are in a win-win situation with this one.

If they go out it will be excellent.

If they go through it will add to their already congested fixture list.

On the other hand i hope Arsenal go through, so their match against us on Tuesday will be less of a priority for them and they will rest players.

United will go 4-3-3 so it seems to match Porto. Bruno Alves better be on his A game tonight.

Joe via text on 81111: "Did I just see Berbatov make a slide tackle there? I'll tell you what, he looks very interested tonight and he's playing well."

                              Joe?

                              OK, I'm bored.
