Del Piero used to take a great penalty. Unstoppable.

I seem to recall Gerrard used to miss quite a few but if that's right then he has improved enormously in the last couple of seasons.

I know, I know - if he misses one ever again it's going to be my fault.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Exactly- and that combined with his wider sloth-like application- really winds them up.

However, Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink was not critical of the playing conditions at Britain's premier sporting arena.

"If you go to a lot of places in Europe and Africa you get pitches that are a lot worse than that," he insisted. I don't think you should start talking about the pitch, whether you win or lose. It was fine to play on."

Not everyone is singing to Fergie's tune, although the BBC are reporting as fact thatthe reserves played because of the state of the pitch, which appears enough of a lie not to take a face value.

They're knackered, have lost all sense of momentum and their horrible cunt of a boss is finally cracking up.

Title race is well and truly on.
Mate they have been **** for the entire season except for a very very small purple patch ... before anybody says the table never lies .. in this case it certainly does ..You expect commentators to say thats the mark of champions to get results whilst not playing well .. for a few games .. but not for a season .. and that pretty much sums up there season.

If it was not for rat boy and shrek they would have been in serious trouble. They dont deserve to win the Lg we do and if the best team always win's the Lg then We will lifting Number 19 next month

We'll be coming Down The Road
