I'm not sure about Pirlo - he could be good in the right team but I think the move would be coming too late in his career. I think if Ancelloti comes to England trying to bring those sort of players into a Chelsea team that needs freshening up with young blood and an addition of pace and verve he won't last long. Sounds like a space filler, made up gossip story to me though.

I would imagine Ancelotti would want to bring Pirlo, but I think he would struggle like hell. He´s used to/prefers a much slower tempo where he exchanges 15 passes with Seedorf before starting the attack.

Probably. Agree with what you say about Ancelotti, if he does come it'll be interesting to see how he approaches it. RE Pirlo I think he'd hate it and really flop. He has the talent but he'd easily be kicked out of the game and wouldn't be up for it every week much like Deco
