I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
Oh absolutely - and I would kind of like us to get him in the sense that he does remind me of Sami somewhat (miss him already ). Just would be a bit pointless with our current options.
Sunderland won't buy Cisse so he's back to Marsielle.
From the BBC Gossip column:
Tottenham are ready to listen to offers for Darren Bent and Roman Pavlyuchenko and are set to step up their chase for Djibril Cisse.

If AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti does take over at Chelsea, it could be as entertaining as Jose Mourinho's spell at Stamford Bridge - if his autobiography is anything to go by. Here is a little excerpt: "The manager of Milan is on a secret mission - I am like 007 on my own. Sat behind a driver with the face of a killer. More than a taxi, this is like a time machine, from Milanello to Stamford Bridge, from yesterday to tomorrow, from one devil (AC Milan) to another (Chelsea)." (Various)
even though first purchases he wants are Alonso and Ribery?
The fact he wants them is irrelevant - if he got them I'd be pissed off. To be fair though selling Alonso to a PL rival would be a monumental **** up on our behalf and I don't think it will happen.

I suspect 1/ to get the best out of older players without going through a huge squad refresh and 2/ because of his success in Europe.
I agree.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
