He has and always will be more comfartable on the attack.
Yep. He was supposed to be a genial, in-the-hole type, pulling the strings with his intuitive passing and skills around the box.

Now his limitations have been exposed he's suddenly widely labelled a Mascherano-type destroyer/harasser! Love it!

    He's wank.

They thought they could beat Barca at their own game and that was never going to happen. The goal changed things, Barca clicked and United barely got the ball back.

Ferguson was rash in bringing Tevez on at HT. Too keen to prove how attacking and decisive he is. Believing his own hype. They should've kept it tight and stayed in the game, but instead they got carved apart and chased shadows for long periods, and found themselves out of the game with 20 minutes left, and it could've been over much earlier. They were naive. Amateurs.
agree completely with this, anderson may not have played well but at least he was a man in the middle, definitely believe ferguson was a victim of his wn hype...they didnt have enough of the ball so they swap a midfielder for an attacker with 45 mins to go. back to the bottle for that old cunt me thinks

allegedly scum played well for first ten minutes ( didnt see it ) but all i saw was them chasing shadows and they found gaps in there midfield becuase it was non existent
They came flying out the blocks and Barca did what Man Utd did for the rest of the game, kick the ball out or to the opposition.

Jack of all, master of none springs to mind. But even that is far fetched. He shouldn't even be considered as a destroyer. Maybe it's because Man Utd have no one else in their greatest squad ever that could fill in.

One thing Benitez doesn't get credit for is Liverpool having the ability to play in two different styles. Tactically in Europe, we are outstanding - very few teams are better. In England, we are now understanding what it takes to win the league. Ferguson and United only know one way of playing; against teams with better technique or tactical awareness, they will get caught out.

Fair play if he'd done **** all this season as times change. But that is just daft. Bit like the idiots at Arsenal calling for Wengers head. Mind at least they could point at Wenger not winning ought for four years!
