Will watch these later but that Simon Cox goal for Swindon is a wonderful goal. Scored a similar one for the U16s once.

I reckon Alexander's first for Millwall should be in there.

The David Bentley goal vs Arsenal was pretty memorable.

Torres' goal wins it for me. Tough angle and a superb finish.

                Gourcuff's is exquisite. Bergkamp-esque

hmm, some cracking goals there, my choice is Grafites goal although Cox's was magnificent and a very close second.

Johnson's by a mile. Great improvisation. Some so called so-called great goals pass me by. Gascoigne's vs Scotland is one. Great skill, yes, but the way people absolutely wet themselves over it beats me. His free kick vs Arsenal in the semi is another. Man hits free kick in top corner from 20 yards! So ****ing what.
It happens every week in the Prem. It's all about WHO you are a lot of the time .Van Persie's wasn't even the goal of that game. There's huge snobbery in the media over such things. Beckham vs Wimbledon(halfway line) got best goal ever in the PL's history and Xabi's vs Newcastle wasn't in the top 100 and was 20 yards further out. Likewise Alan Smith's for Man Utd vs Roma come about 5th in the Champions League greatest 100 goals on Sky! Most people I speak to can't even remember it yet it came above some absolute blinders.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

For me the goal of the season in the Prem was Cole's for West Ham. That's what it's all about.

But of that lot above (still haven't watched them yet ), and forgetting Cole's, I find it hard to envisage there being a better goal than Cox's. The touch to kill it - a high ball arriving over his head FFS - and then the awareness, thought and improv involved in lofting the ball over and beyond the keeper, was absolutely top, top class.

                        out of those

                        Grafite
                        Remi Mareval vs Marseille
                        Gourcuff

would be the ones i'd choose

That Mascara one is easy on the eye.

I would pick out the Gourcoff one personally as I'm a sucker for skills and then end product as well.
