Seeing Emma Hayes explain part of England's tactics got me wondering a little.

I know sometimes we see men doing it - like Carra et al. but it is curious that - to my view anyway - it is generally more often the female commentators who are referencing tactics in an 'instructive' manner, rather than just opining ' England need to get into it!'.

Is it what female commentators need to do, in order to get heard ? Is it the way commentating input should go? (I think yes). Why do the men generally not do it? Is it just the case that most of the male commenters are useless?

How can you still have Ronaldo playing from the start. Took a chance off of Bruno, pass wasn’t for him but he couldn’t help himself. They had 700+ passes and 1 shot on target.
