England leading Spain 1-0 thanks to Frazer Campbell. Milner missed a pen earlier.

Make that 2-0! Milner makes up for his pen miss. Good run by Walcott to set it up. 15 mins or so left.

England through to the semis with a game to spare then.

It's funny how **** Spain are. They started the first match passing it around like the senior team but after 20 minutes i think they realized they weren't Xavi & co. Since then they have been absolutely dog ****. Germany were miles better and so were England.

Spain U21 are missing some of their players - the best ones have been cherry picked to go to South Africa

                  Sweden 1-2 Italy

Seen the best and worst from Mario Balotelli. Scored a very good goal and then got himself sent off with 15 mins of the first half to go. Sebastian Giovinco set up Aquafresca to score the second. Giovinco was a joy to watch, nimble, quick, skillful. Sweden wasted far too many chances and lacked intelligence to break open the tight Italian defence. Toivonen scored a late consolation goal - good team goal. Italy are through.

...and tiny. No bigger than a baby's thumb.
                    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

He was 21 when the Championships started. Likewise David Silva was also eligible to play but is in South Africa

I don't think England will play Richards, Walcott, Agbonlahor and maybe a few others. I can see Rodwell, Campbell and Tompkins playing.

Anyone know how Tosic done? Only watched the odd highlights and never heard him mentioned once.
