      Oh well, they got to the final though so its all good experience. Not one LFC player in the squad though was there....great youth set up we have.

        It's a poor England squad. The team from two years ago was far better than this one plus and with the newly found, jedi like, astute tactician and future England manager, Stuart Pearce, the team were lucky to get to the finals following a psychotic display against the team from Ikea.

            We did have a chance. we were better for long periods and it all fell apart with that **** keeper. Germany weren't that good actually

              I thought we started well and had great possesion at times, but as you rightly said, that keeper and other inconsistencies killed it for us, ah well. Congrats for getting to the final, just got to move on now

                WERE **** AHHHHHH.

                **** it even with a 3 goal head start we almost did not make the final. Piss poor again. God i am glad i support liverpool at least we win stuff!!!

                    These players will fit right in in the full squad, because they bottle it when they come up against decent teams as well, it seems like they've made the ideal preparation for the England squad.
                    The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                            It's a game of fine margins. Had a proper front line striker been available I reckon England would have won. Walcott is not adept enough at leading the line and they missed Agbonlahor and Campbell.

                            Germany very well disciplined at the back though and did well on the counter.

                              I agree and England were also missing a proper goalkeeper. 4-0 was harsh.
