Fair enough if you think that. I strongly disagree though. I actually think he has similar issues to Babel in that he's NOT an intelligent player. That's half his problem. He has ability but too often fails to capitalize on dangerous situations with poor decision-making.
I think Utd fans will find him extremely frustrating."I never think of the future. It comes soon enough."

I think it's one of those odd situations where the truth is somewhere in between but both impressions have merit and at a top club he could go either way. He makes excellent runs off the ball whenever I have seen him and uses his acceleration really well. However he doesn't use the ball intelligently in the final third and is a far from clinical finisher. I'd back Fergie to polish him up as a player though.Originally posted by Delinquent View PostFair enough if you think that. I strongly disagree though. I don't know, Anderson is a decent player if he finds form again, Xabi did it so why not Anderson.Originally posted by Parm View PostHargreaves may have to retire through injury
Giggs and Scholes are not the players they were and will have be replaced
Anderson is suspect,
Nani is suspect
Ronaldo has now gone
Park wont win them anything on his own
So therefore I think that midfield will need to be completely overhauled
A midfield of Fletcher, Carrick, Anderson, Valencia, Nani and Park may not sound world class but I think it suits United well enough they have Evra offering width on the left and with Berbatov upfront and Rooney in his vicinity they will always have chances and goals.
If Hargreves returns there midfield will have lots of energy and movement and they will remain solid at the back.
I think now is the best time for Fergie to break up his team and rebuild it after winning three titles on the run, in order to prevent his players from becoming complacent and keep the squad hungry.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Did Anderson ever have form? i thought he had a couple of brilliant games, 1 against us i recall.....there midfield is ****e it will not be good enough now ronaldo has gone.
I think they will go back to classic 4-4-2 next year Berba and Rooney up front
Valencia, Nani and Park on the wings with maybe wellbeck making the step up and a centre mid of Hargreaves, carrick, Anderson, fletcher hardly inspires confidence?
They need another left winger and another top quality Midfielder at the very least imo._____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?

Anderson started really well according to a few United friends of mine but then became inconsistent later in his first season. At the time they said he looked tired but still managed a few good performances. He didn't do anything at all last season to suggest his form might return. I guess it depends what the root cause of his decline was - tiredness, subsequent lack of confidence, arrogance, poor attitude to training, secretly being completely ****, difficulty converting to a new way of playing, who knows?Originally posted by red g View PostDid Anderson ever have form? i thought he had a couple of brilliant games, 1 against us i recall.....there midfield is ****e it will not be good enough now ronaldo has gone.

He doesn't seem to have any composure in the final third, which would be a major worry if I was a Utd fan. Babel is very similar in that respect, and if anything he's gone backwards during his time here.Originally posted by dww View PostI think it's one of those odd situations where the truth is somewhere in between but both impressions have merit and at a top club he could go either way. While Ferguson is arguably the ideal manager to get the best out of him, I'm not convinced that a) his best will ever be good enough and b) that he's got the mentality to succeed at the highest level anyway.
Time will tell of course, but I couldn't be less bothered by his signing, personally."I never think of the future. It comes soon enough."

Whilst they are not that frightening I think Fergusons teams are built around excellent movement without the ball, and it should suit these players well enough (with the exception of Nani maybe). I don't think they will win their fourth consecutive title next season but who knows.Originally posted by red g View PostDid Anderson ever have form? i thought he had a couple of brilliant games, 1 against us i recall.....there midfield is ****e it will not be good enough now ronaldo has gone.

As I said I think this is good time for Fergie to rebuild the team which will probably take two summers to do. They have this fella Tosic as well who is supposed to be quite good and with two or three top additions to come this summer they will be serious contenders as usual.* The above is posted in my opinion. He's scored 5 goals, created loads and a constant threat down the right.Originally posted by Chris View PostHas he?
It was also his cross that created the winner in the league cup final.
Plus he's about to win the title and possibly the CL in his first season at a new club. I'd say he's done pretty well overall.
Or he's a lucky cunt playing in a **** team of **** players that has been carried to glory by that other **** player, rooney.
