The Reds have joined the race for the 17-year-old Independiente midfielder who is rated as an even bigger talent than Barcelona's Lionel Messi.

Personally, id have him back in a flash in a Fowler role as a sub on a pay as you play basis but I trust Rafas judgement not to do this.
