seriously I wanted him back this season to play backup to Nando, I grew up on Fowler, Owen and Macca being my idols. If he goes to United it just shows he is a little ****** that just thinks about himself.I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't argue with any of that. Even the same generation
*If* it's true, I agree with the first sentiment, can understand the second, but the third is taking it way too far.Originally posted by El Diego View PostOwen is a complete ******, he is scum and I hope he breaks his legs.

I actually wouldn't have minded if he went to Everton (as much) as they were his boyhood club and his Dad played for them.I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. That's unlikely - Gerrard wanted Utd to win the CL final due to his friendship with their players so I doubt he'll be as riled as you are.Originally posted by liverpooltj View PostJust shows that he never had any love for Liverpool or the fans as this is a kick in the teeth to the club who made him the worlds best at one point.
He has ****ed us over twice but this will be unforgivable. I hope Cara and Gerrard tell the little goblin **** where to stick his friendship as i ****ing would!
The 2001 FA cup final should be wiped clean from our history and anything the ****er did for us.
Never was anywhere near as good as Robbie.
Guess we will have to stick with Nando
You're right about the Robbie comparison though - Fowler was in a different league.

Yea right!I'm sure he was being a little diplomatic in that interview.-----------------------------------------------

He's gotta say that to the press but, they're his fellow England colleagues. Doesn't mean he really wanted it.Originally posted by carheex View PostThat's unlikely - Gerrard wanted Utd to win the CL final due to his friendship with their players so I doubt he'll be as riled as you are.

He'd pretty much burned himself anyways. I'm almost happy about it, it just shows how low Fergies is having to sink these days.Originally posted by Rich View Post"BBC Sport understands" is the usual giveaway that this story is true.
Get used to it people, Owen has well and truly burnt any ties to LFC.
Torres >> Villa >> Tevez >> Benzema >> **** it, Owen won't say no, he's desperate!
Legend!

He doesn't have to say that to the press at all?! What is more important - saying that you want Utd to win the CL to appear to be diplomatic, or declare support for your teams most hated rivals? He said it and he meant it.Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostHe's gotta say that to the press but, they're his fellow England colleagues. Doesn't mean he really wanted it.

he does have to say something to the press though? a silence in todays media hungry world, would have only raised more questions than answers.Originally posted by carheex View PostHe doesn't have to say that to the press at all?! Hmmm. OR he could have said a number of things:
"liverpool aren't in the final so it doesn't matter - i just hope it's a good game"
"i hope the best team wins"
"i'm a neutral observer"
etc etc. aything other than "i hope man utd wins the CL"! anyway, we're getting off topic a bit here.

Dirty little *******. Im seething today. I never thought I could hate a Man Utd player more than Neville.
They are getting him on a free transfer so it's not a gamble at all if you consider how many **** players they already have on over £70-80k per week.
I have never booed a player before but I will def be booing this prick

I'm a bit peeved off as well and think we should have gotten in for him to be honest as back up, although that would have meant a change of system.Originally posted by -V- View PostDirty little *******. Im seething today. I never thought I could hate a Man Utd player more than Neville.
