They haven't signed Tevez yet have they?

I quite like Adebayor - when he has his head right he is a very good player.

think he is flying back from holidays and signing in next 48 hrs as good as a done deal allegedly

On form I think hes an excellent striker, obviously he has a very suspect attitude though.

More importantly he's a very similar type player to Santa Cruz, two target men in the same team is just daft! Unless one of them has been bought to warm the bench this makes no sense

                    ------------Given

                    Richards-Dunne-Kompany-Bridge

                    -----Ireland-De Jong-Barry

                    ------Tevez-----Robinho

                    ----------Adebayor

                    Subs from:
                    Hart
                    Onuoha
                    Garrido
                    Elano
                    Petrov
                    Johnson
                    Wright Phillips
                    Bojinov
                    Santa Cruz

If they can buy a class CB (obv Terry has been linked), another RB, and possibly another CM then they are looking very very good to me.

If I was an Arsenal fan I would be starting to get worried.

                      Im still not convinced really.

I dont think Given is all that, decent but no more. Richards was atrocious last year so needs replacing like you mention, Dunne was beyond pathetic last season, Kompany mediocre, Bridge was so bad their fans hate him already. Even with Terry and a good right back they still have another crap centre back and an abysmal left back.

They have 2 good players in midfield but no top quality. And upfront they've got 2 players who only play when they can be arsed then Tevez. Im not that concerned yet to be honest but we'll see.

They'll be more of a threat but I still expect massive inconsistency and a Hughes sacking.

I can see them battering a few teams and achieving some decent results against the big clubs. However, i expect them to take a couple of sound beatings and lose a few matches to the weaker sides.

They're definitely now amongst the big boys though and I fully expect them to be challenging in the next couple of years and beyond.

City have improved with players who are great, by city's usual standards. But the step up in quality required to be a top four side is much bigger.

They've got quite literally zero world class players IMO, for all the money spent.
