Bellamy will be off to somewhere like wolves in January to i reckon.

Bellamy should start packing his gear now. They've look to be ending up with 4 big name strikers, how will they react to rotation? Hmm

Odds 3.25 atleast on that double. Both teams will concede goals and score plenty so over the course of the season i would expect alot of profit

I think everyone is being far too harsh on City.

Barry was a very solid addition for a decent price and Tevez is a good player, who works hard, scores goals and will sell a few replica shirts. Between Adebayor (if they get him) and Santa Cruz they've got a strong presence up front capable of leading the line.

They're not a top four side, but I'd be suprised if they don't finish comfortably in the top six.

Work permit application has gone through according to Sky

Emmanuel Adebayor's move to Manchester City looks to be edging ever closer with the news he has been granted a work permit.

The Arsenal striker attended a hearing in Manchester on Tuesday and Sky Sports News sources can now reveal there have been no complications with what is a routine process.

A remarkable week at Eastlands which has seen City snare Carlos Tevez from neighbours Manchester United and reignite interest in Chelsea and England captain John Terry, could be concluded with the acquisition of Adebayor.

It is thought a fee in the region of £20-25million is close to being agreed between the two clubs, with the player ready to quit Emirates for a move north.

Having already landed Gareth Barry, Tevez and Roque Santa Cruz it is City that are certainly edging ahead in the transfer stakes this summer.

Arsenal have yet to pass official comment on the current speculation surrounding their Togolese front-man.

i dont know a manc fan who isnt apprehensive this season.......lose tevez and ronaldo and replace with valencia and owen! the former pairing scored 102 goals in 2 seasons, Valencia and owen probably didnt hit 20!!

Can't say i blame them TBH as like you said they have lost Ronaldo and tevez and replaced them with two average players and there are players such as Giggs and Scholes who are getting on and not getting replaced.

The only reason they won the league last season was because we had to do without the Torres and Gerrard partnership for a large part of the season. With those two fit we would have won the league by mid april.
