Aye, although he's started knocking on a bit hasnt he? Nothing like the runaway train of a player he was before.

I know he went on and scoredOriginally posted by Craig_H View PostWatching barca tonight and it's criminal how much Zlatan limits their play. He's just not remotely fluid or mobile, and just goes against everything barca do on the field.
They look impotent with him up there
If he continues playing the majority of the rest of their games, i think it'll give Madrid the initiative in the title race.
but I totally agree. People say he gives Barca the other option of going long, but when do they ever need to go long?! Eto'o was a much better fit. And a better centre-forward if you ask me. Scarily the striker I think would fit best and score the most goals in that team is Torres.
He would be ultra-phenomenal in that side.

I think there have been games (against Chelsea in the CL for example) in recent years where a long ball option was one that would have helped them. But it should have been an option not the first choice in my opinion. I think that Eto'o leaving was as much about off field things as the desperation to get Zlatan in.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI know he went on and scored

I would have thought either Torres or Villa would clean up in that team. As would Drogba. But then that is pretty much just listing the best forwards in the world. I can see the idea of Torres being a mid way between a player who could hold it up and do other things. I think Villa would fit the build up style of Barcelona better though."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

I really can't see what this guy has that make him so expensive - €40m
Some back handers must be taking place
Friday, 27th August 2010
Reports from Spain suggest this is D-Day for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. AC Milan have apparently agreed a fee of some €40M, payable over three years, with Barcelona for the Swedish striker. Now it remains to be seen whether Ibrahimovic is prepared to swap the Camp Nou for the San Siro.
Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola said his client has "24 hours to decide. It is a delicate situation, but this Friday [Ibrahimovic] will give an answer to Milan."
The main sticking point regarding any transfer of Ibrahimovic to Milan was always felt to be the player’s salary which, at €6M per year, was a large amount for the Rossoneri to add to their books.
Sources in Italy believe the recent Champions League draw though, which pitted Milan against Real Madrid, Auxerre and Ajax has only increased Ibrahimovic’s desire to join the club, with the striker keen to be involved in those games.I make no apologies, this is me

Yeah, I thought they were skintOriginally posted by Rich View PostHang on something doesn't sit right here. Didn't Kevin Prince head to Milan via Genoa because of the clubs lack of funds... And now they've found a cool €40m for Zlatan?!
Besides if they have the money I'd used to get some younger faces in there, they have a very old squad.

I think they are taking it a bit too far, you need young faces with enthusiasm and hunger. They just signed the 34 year old Cordoba FFS.Originally posted by Willo View PostIt's what they do though, Milan Labs Article* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
