We could have likely sold him in the summer for at least £1m. Wolves are getting an absoloute bargain at £500k. To think we could get him for £350k and aren't going there seems daft.Originally posted by saj View PostYes - absolute ****ing madness. Most of us on these forums could do a better job than the scouts at LFC. It's not even a gamble signing a player like him at that price.
I guess Kenny just thinks someone like Pacheco is a level above him and Hammill wouldn't get games.Forwards.......

Yes. But did we even make a move for him to turn us down? No. I'm very certain he would have re-signed for us. Very disappointing.Originally posted by Reece View PostMaybe he didn't want to come back to a club that he'd already failed to make the grade at?

I'm confident he'd have came here if we'd have wanted him. He's a Liverpool fan and never wanted to leave in the first place. I hope he proves himself at Wolves. Was starting to show concistency at Barnsley which is something he always lacked.Originally posted by Reece View PostMaybe he didn't want to come back to a club that he'd already failed to make the grade at?Forwards.......

The worst thing, most LFC fans would probably agree with that. Hammill is a way better player than Pacheco (he is a slightly older than him). He's strong, can tackle, quick, a good crosser and is pretty intelligent. He also has a lethal shot - almost Gerrard like.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostWe could have likely sold him in the summer for at least £1m. He's always been consistent Danny. He's played well wherever he's gone. He's just getting better with experience and will continue to do so at Wolves. My kebab comes with chilli sauce

He's been up and down a lot mate. His attitude was questioned at LFC by the coaches, was said to think he was a bit big time and that was why he kept getting loaned out.Originally posted by saj View Post

They must have known he had ability, hence the £350k clause.Forwards.......

What would be the point of signing a player who is not good enough?Originally posted by saj View PostYes. But did we even make a move for him to turn us down? No. I'm very certain he would have re-signed for us. Very disappointing.

Just to clarify that I have read that correctly you are saying Adam Hammill is almost Gerrard like.....................Originally posted by saj View PostThe worst thing, most LFC fans would probably agree with that. £350k would have been worth a punt for 6 months at least, give him a chance to see how he does if it doesn't work out we could sell him on for a profit. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
