In my experience, West Ham fans are sound.

Had to walk through their 'side' of the ground after the Cup Final in Cardiff and i had colours - not a hint of bother, stopped and chatted to a few of them and they were quality, under the circumstances.

Without wanting to sound predictable, but Chelsea fans are complete ****s in my experience.

Whether they're 'hard' or not, i dont know - it's not 'hard' when there's about 35000 chelsea fans and only a handful of away fans. I've seen them start **** on virtually every trip i've made to Stamford Bridge. Vile cunts they are. I've seen plenty of it. Singing their hillsborough songs, spitting at Reds coming out of the ground etc etc.

One good thing about Stoke though:

Their half time show was good though, with their two mascots 'Pottermus' and 'Pottermiss' (two hyppos, male and female, named after the 'Potters'). By some coincidence, the day we visited Stoke (coldest day in history, by the way) they were doing some anti smoking campaign, so they had a bloke dressed as a giant cigarette.

Not funny in itself. But it was quite entertaining when one of the hyppos did that thing where you get behind someone on all fours. And the other hyppo proceeded to push the cigarette over.

I've never seen a giant angry cigarette chasing two camp looking hyppos across a football field before.

My Bird lives in Stoke (Not from Stoke), I hate having to go there. What a ****hole! The story is that back in the day when the extacy boom started it started in Stoke and they were ****ed off their heads for years! You can see the after effects now. Its a bit like chernobyl!
