Chelsea looked very average. Their defence looks shakey and would have been punished by a better team.

It's only the first game though, they'll get better in front of goal i'm sure of that.

It's little to do with the first game. I don't rate Ancelotti, he's overrated and will fail just as badly as Scolari. Their tactics don't suit the English game, and they have no creativity at all. It's all about bullying the other team and literally push the ball into the net. Drogba saved them today, but they won't get so lucky in away games, and they seem much softer than before.

Mikel is also **** and Anelka isn't going to perform as well as he did last season. They need a Joe Cole miracle of him getting back and having a stormer.
