City already looked MUCH better than their toothless away displays last year. Toure makes a huge difference for them in defence and Barry was excellent too. They will be there or there abouts for the Champions League this year I think.

Lets see how Arsenal look now.

Think Arsenal are going to rip Everton to shreds.

Hibbert is up against Arshavin. That should be entertaining.

I think they have problems in controlling the game though, they certainly didn't do that today.

Manager for the future.... Martinez of Wigan. That's the result of the day. Lost their best player. Villa could struggle. Have to say, I was impressed by City. They will be challengers. Stephen Ireland is the creating influence we needed. Still the Adebayor is ****e though.

Yep instant improvement. Last year they lost to everyone away from home...except us of course. A big improvement, much more steel and quality going forward.

Arshavin is very hit and miss though. I don't think Arsenal are that good personally, they are certainly weakened from last season and they are still lacking in midfield.

I agree with you on Arsenal, but today I think they'll do fine. Have I already said that Arshavin is up against Hibbert?

Yeah, but I think the issue is that Arshavin while he can be excellent can also disappear completely.

                    1-0 Arsenal

                    Denilson

Now 3-0 thanks to Vaerhalen(sp) and Gallas.

I blame man marking, they'd have stopped the 2 headers if they'd gone zonal.

Arsenal and Chelsea both winning. Could've done without that really.

Also, I didn't realise how utterly **** Anelka had become either. He was shocking today - according to my Chelsea mate, today was how he pretty much always plays too. Shocking.

Me too. I hate Arsenal more than Everton tbh.
