Does this mean Arsenal could be good this season then, and that they have been underrated by pundits and fans alike, or is it just one of those funny, reeeeeeally funny, funny hilarious even.. results that pops up now and then ?

I think that people have been under rating them. They are much better team than a lot of the write ups have it. That said they have for several seasons been capable of dismantling anyone on their day but find putting together a whole season and putting up with getting kicked week in, week out difficult to sustain.

I also think that Everton need to freshen up their squad. They have had the same players (even the young ones) around for a while and have the same problems in terms of lacking consistently fit strikers for a while. Their only signing was someone who was there last year and they haven't even sold anyone to make fringe/young players feel they have a place to fight for.

Good chance of them becoming stale as you say, every squad needs new blood on a regular basis for this reason.
