Houllier had many faults, but diving was not one of them.

Docking points, in league games of course, would only eradicate cheating.

I don't remember seeing Houllier dive, ever.

Why doesn't UEFA & FIFA investigate the referees & linesmen ffs? It's not the players' fault if the refs give stupid decisions is it??
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

Bwuh? It's not the players fault for cheating and conning the ref?

Well if the players didn't fall over everytime someone in their vicinity broke wind maybe the referees wouldn't be conned into giving poor decisions. How you can blame the officials for this is beyond me.

If I was a Gooner I would have been ashamed of that, really would have.

I know Gerrard gets called a diver but I have always maintained he just exaggerates contact rather than try and con the ref into thinking there has been contact when there clearly hasn't, ala Pires, Viera and Eduardo....... hang on, there is a pattern emerging here. Arsenal are cheating cunts!!! I would not at all be surprised if Wenger encourages this behaviour on the pitch.

Hasn't Eboue been guilty of it in the past too?

Indeed he has. His beautiful backflip into reverse pirouette won the free kick for Arsenal in the 2006 Champions League final from which Notts County's latest superstar signing headed in their lead goal.

Can we name any other Arsenal, or ex-Arsenal players under Wenger's tutilidge? Bergkamp? Wright? Overmars certainly.

Bergkamp usen't dive much but he was a really sneaky, nasty ****er. You'd always see him throwing sly elbows or flicks with the boot and he nearly always got away with it. Great player though.

It is fair to say that the great Del Piero is without peers.

All the more reason why technology needs to be used in football - like EVERY other sport. Furthermore we were denied at least blatant 2 pens (1 against Spurs & 1 against Villa) where in BOTH cases the players involved did a lot more than just "fall over", so why weren't the refs conned in either of those 2 cases?!
