TBH all I've seen of the incident is this photo.

But regardless of what happenned he's a professional footballer paid a fortune to play the game of football.

Last I heard ****ting someone who as his hands held behind his back doesn't fall into the JD for that.

Regardless of justification he deserves a ban, he was under no threat from him, he should have just walked away and let teh stewards / cops handle it.

The fact of the matter is the feral manc supporter shouldn't have been on the pitch in the first place. If you want to jump over the barrier and run to abuse an opposition player, then you're fair game as far as im concerned. You get whats coming to you.

He could have spat at Bellamy, hit him or abused him verbally.

He could have done, but none of that would change what's in the picture, Bellamy punched him after a steward had him restrained with his hands behind his back.

He's being paid enough that he should turn his back and walk away once the situations under control, leaving it to the relevant authorities to deal with.

And besides any of that, punching someone when they've already been restrained strikes me as a little cowardly.
