    Barcelona's New Stadium Plans?

Plans for a 150,000-seater football stadium just off the coast of Barcelona have been published by a Catalan architect.

Emili Vidal proposed building the huge stadium for Barcelona Football Club on an artificial island linked to the city by a bridge.

The European champions commissioned Norman Foster in 2007 to come up with a re-structure for the stadium. But critics of his plan to expand capacity by 10,000 said it did not solve capacity issues.

That is insane. Especially in the current financial climate.

Imagine being stuck in the top row? You wouldn't see a thing.
        Oh I don't know.

The Nou Camp's well ugly from the outside mate, the Bernabau looks far more impressive.

That proposed stadium looks stunning beyond belief.

Too bad we don't have owners with such vision to build something like that!

Looks great but it also looks like a bottleneck for getting in and out the stadium. There should be a few interesting post-match events when they play real madrid.

Can we buy their old ground then and carry it here?

Other way round for me, thought Barca were just sticking a new wall around the nou camp that lights up.

                              That looks absolutely incredible.

Craig - you have to go to Camp Nou. It's old, worn out and rickety but absolutely amazing at the same time.

I'll certainly be toddling over to this place if it ever gets built.
