1.Barcelona sporting director Txiki Begiristain has not ruled out swooping for Cesc Fabregas in the January transfer window.
The Catalan giants have made no secret of their admiration for the Spain international in the past and have admitted that they are keen to bring the midfielder back to the Nou Camp.
Fabregas came through the ranks at Barca but switched to Arsenal in summer 2003 with the belief that first-team chances would be easier to come by in London.
With Barca set to be without midfielders Yaya Toure and Seydou Keita when the African Cup of Nations begin in January Begiristain reveals that the club could delve into the transfer market to boost their squad.
"He's a player who fits the Barca profile," he said of Fabregas to Sport.
"He was born suckling on football here and one day he will end up playing at the Camp Nou. I am sure.
"There are options for us to strengthen (the squad) yes.
"We will see if any of our defenders can play in central midfield. It's an option. Depending on that, we could look to buy a forward."

2.Barcelona are refusing to rule out a big-money offer for Manchester City's Robinho when the transfer window opens in January.
The Brazil superstar has been consistently linked with a Liga return ever since his surprise £32.5million switch from Real Madrid in September 2008.
Robinho is currently on the sidelines after injuring his ankle on international duty and he could find it difficult to make a swift return to Mark Hughes' starting XI.
Blistering form
Craig Bellamy has been in blistering form in his absence along with Carlos Tevez, while Emmanuel Adebayor is back and playing again for City following suspension.
Barca's sporting director Txiki Begiristain has refused to confirm the club's intentions in the New Year, but highlights that the forward would be eligible to be registered for them in the UEFA Champions League.
"He's a very interesting player and can play in the Champions League," Begiristain told Sport
