He will and in a sense I'm glad we didn't sign Willian.

I do worry about that myself but he needed game time and he was going to be seriously limited in the first team this season

You're right. Looks like he put in a terrific performance. I wonder how good he will actually be after a whole season's worth of football?

Given the shedding of players in Spain I think he'd stay if we had space for him in the team. Either way - he's either appreciating in value or utility. Happy days.

He signed a new contract last November iirc.

The way Rodgers was talking about Wisdom, I think he really sees proper constructive loans as a crucial part of our young talent developing. Suso needed a season of regular first team football in a good league suited to him, and that looks like exactly what he's going to get. Best thing for Suso and the best thing for us in the long term.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

i have felt we needed to be doing more to help our young players develop and this is a massive step in the right direction.

rodgers played quite a few of the kids in his first season and they just were not good enough. maybe he was playing them out of desperation due to a thin squad and to show the owners the difference in the first team level and the level the young lads were at.
either way, im really glad he seems to have shown that some proper first team football somewhere else can better develop our young lads, and without compromising the results of the first team.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I love the way he turns his marker time and again. Not sure if its me but he looks stronger and has a touch more acceleration than last season?

Also good to see a shot on target!

He is perfectly suited to play in La Liga but time will tell if he can translate those skills in PL.

                            !
He looks much more aggressive especially defensively.

Also it is good to see that he is using his weaker foot to score as he needs to add goals to his game.
