Based on the market Ronaldo about 18 months ago would have probably been worth more.

If Levvy does stick to his guns on this, and catagorically refuses to sell even at the ludicrous and shameful figures being quoted, and Madrid do finally turn to LFc and Suarez, then we should tell them they can take a running jump if they think they can buy Suarez on the cheap, because in our opinion...the clubs opinion! he is worth more than Gareth Bale to any football club on any given day!

So if they really want to buy him, then make the same offer to LFC for Suarez as they have to Spurs for Bale.

Makes sense to me anyway. **** em!

Hey Real Madrid, we've got a player that scored more goals and for half the price? Only thing is he eats people and is as loyal as Tiger Woods.

This! For a player that openly admits he doesn't have a clue where his shots are going to end up. The whole thing is laughable

Bale is worth around £20m no more. He's just better than Downing. Spurs are fools not to take the money and run away.

his last 3 seasons have been good, Last year was exceptional.

I would have thought he would need at least 1 more season probably 2 to demand that sort of figure.

Maybe they are looking at the big picture with the release of Dawn of the planet of the apes next year hoping to cash in on sponsorship deals with bale.

                            Marginally better than Downing.
