      No player is worth anywhere near the money quoted. In today's market lads he's worth over £50 million easily. Football is madness.... genuinely sickening how these sums are thrown around inn today's economy.

      Real clearly think they can get a top quality player, maybe help them win trophies & on a commercial side... that will also sell jerseys and recoup some money back.

      If Levy refused this amount quoted and it is for real.... he is crazy.

              Not sure if Bale leaving is good or bad really. Can't make me mind up.

              That's a heck of a lot of money that Spurs will get to strengthen their squad. But on the other hand if Madrid get Bale then surely we've more chance of keeping Suarez.

                The best way this can pan out is for it to drag on until the end of the window where Bale moves at 11.59pm leaving no time for Spurs to get anyone in.

                      Yup, the longer this Bale saga rumbles on the better.

                      If they get anyway near the crazy money being talked about for him and they've got time to use it in the transfer market they could really be a force next season.
