Can't believe the prices being quoted for this sale. It's honestly kind of sickening. What the **** is wrong with this sport? How is Gareth Bale, or any player for that matter, worth £93 million? You know with a sale like this, players will just get more and more expensive from now on. Where does it stop? It's completely corrupt. Real Madrid is always ****ing everybody about with insultingly low bids, but they are willing to pay more than anyone has ever paid for a player transfer for one-season-wonder Gareth Bale. I don't doubt his talent, and think he will continue to be a good player, but it honestly makes no sense. And when you think that Madrid is the capital of a country undergoing austerity measures... the money Real is willing to spend is even more farcical.
