By definition. He's rated at about £100m but he's not worth it, so he's overrated.

When Bale's hamstrings go he'll be ****ed. He had an amazing season but constantly legging it 40 yards and lashing 25 yarders into the top corner doesn't seem sustainable to me. We'll see but I can't see him repeating that. He's powerful, fast as **** and direct, but he lacks the ingenuity, guile and the magic you would expect from a £90m player or whatever he cost.

Very few players that more or less only relies on pace won't last more than a few years at the top. There is a reason to why it exist very few very quick players aged 30+ in the top leagues.

He don't have the game intelligence to compensate the lost pace when he starts to pick up hamstring injuries.

I think that he will be finished as a top class player in two or three years time.

Compare that to Suarez that will probably be a top class player at the age of 35+ because of his excellent game intelligence.

You can say the same about Coutinho. It is better to have excellent game intelligence than excellent pace.
