              Would you rather have

Ronaldo - Isco - Bale or Iniesta - Messi - Neymar?

Gareth Bale has been named in the Wales squad to face Macedonia and Belgium, but will not play a part in either match.

The Real Madrid forward has made just three appearances for the Spanish club since making his world-record move from Tottenham, and is currently sidelined by a thigh injury.

Wales boss Chris Coleman confirmed the 24-year-old would not feature in either of their final World Cup qualifiers, saying: "We have spoken to the doctor and we will be without him, but we said all along it is very tough for him to have had no pre-season and be thrown in at the deep end."

                  Makes perfect sense.

                    How utterly pointless.

Has he even played a full 90 minutes for Madrid yet?

EDIT: And Chris Coleman is questioning Real Madrid's treatment of Bale's injuries!

EDIT II: Bale has played just three games for Real Madrid since his £85m move from Tottenham and will stay in Spain for treatment with his country's blessing.

                    As you were.

Obviously Bale can't help being injured but when you look at Ronaldo and see just how good he is... Bale is so so so so far off.

It's laughable. Obviously it's early days but just imagine if he flops? How long will they give him I wonder?

He's doing quite well really. Fair Play to him, hell of a price tag but he hasn't let it affect his game.

He's doing ok. Two of his goals today were effectively tap ins from rebounds off the keeper but he's holding his own in the side.

struggled at first but seems to be settling in nicely.
