I think your right, but i would like to see the Customs and Revenue make a stand on this one.

To be honest, it feels horrible to want them to go under, for our own advantage - but i almost cant help it.

      Terrible for the fans.

        Devastating. But needs must.

        Nah, it'll never happen.

And surely it'd come into effect from next season. If you're Pompey though, and you know you're going down regardless, you'd want the deduction implemented this season.
Yep I thought 10 too but twice in the last half hour or so they've said it's 9 on SSN

This is where the FA or whoever needed to take action. How on earth is this guy allowed near a football club again?

I remember the stories coming out of Leeds when they were in trouble about all the luxury cars he financed from club accounts and all the club expenses he used on fish tanks for his office and tons of other stupid stuff. Can't remember the full extent of it but it was pretty damning. How somebody proven to be completely incompetent can be allowed to run a multi-million pound business is beyond me. Everybody at Cardiff should have been well aware of what to expect from him. Although im not entirely sure if the gamble to move to a £60m stadium was his doing or the previous regime. Any club who is not in the premiership is taking a huge gamble building an expensive new stadium

Sullivan at west ham was saying yesterday how he discovered the club was paying for 200 contract mobile phones for staff and there was tons of staff at their club who didn't seem have much work to do

May be a PL vs FA rule difference. I'm pretty sure it's 10 in the lower leagues.

It's definitely 10 in the lower leagues.

This is why i bumped this thread...someone a few posts up has worked it out too, but with different results to the one you posted.

That can't be right? Even if we win tonight it seems too generous.

Edit - Second thoughts it is correct, isn't it (if we win tonight?)

I think we are the only ones who really gain, as we lost to them.

I deleted it, I think it was supposed to read 'LFC 44 points' - or 47 if we win tonight. Either way, if they go out of business and all results are nullfied, we could be three points behind the Mancs if we win tonight and they lose at Villa

The case has been adjourned till this avi. Not adjourned during consideration, it's not even started yet, and will do at 2pm.
