Maybe our gk coach isn't as good as the ones we had under rafa.

Looked unsettled since his book, maybe he's had a falling out with Carra...

He's looked unsettled for a while, I said this months back and got an absolute hammering for it.

He looked really shaky the other night, I know Stoke are a ****house brutal team at times and he had to contend with the long throw all the time but he did not look confident when attacking the ball.

I'm worried about him tbh. I hope it's just a phase he's going through and he will improve as the season goes on.

On the positive side, although he's been flappy he's not letting many in.

          He'll be fine.

We're just ever so fortunate to have a usually consistant keeper so when he does make a mistake it's picked up on more.

          Nothing to worry about chaps.

It's not unusual for Pepe to start a season slowly & then pick up his form. He'll be ok, class is permanent after all.

His kicking the other night was shocking. Must have been 6 balls delivered to the Stoke keeper which was very unlike him. I know the pitch was shortened, but more than once is bad.

Yeah I know, although I am a bit worried about him being flappy; deep down I've got faith in him.

I think some people, myself included are picking faults when in fact he's been pretty much our most consistent performer of the past few years.

All of the good players have bad patches, maybe this is his. I'm confident he'll improve as the season wears on.

                  Clean sheet for Pepe today.

probably means there won't be clean sheets at Pepe's home tonight (have you read his book? )...

yup was good for Pepe to get a clean sheet - thought the CB pairing of Agger and Skrtel in front of him looked good

I would like to keep Skrtel and Agger for now, Skrtel impressed me yesterday, Carra should have to earn his place back. Would be nice to keep the same back four now for a while.

I agree, they both looked pretty assured yesterday and it's a rare clean sheet for us. No reason to be changing again unless injuries force us to

Agreed. Would send the wrong signal out if Carragher slotted straight back into the side.

Skrtel and Agger deserve to play next week.

Which is precisely what will happen.

No way Carra won't go straight back in.

                              He shouldn't but he will.

                                Reina focused on winning

Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina admits he is not bothered about keeping clean sheets as long as the team are winning.

Reina kept only his third clean sheet in the Premier League this season with the shut-out against West Brom last weekend.

The Spaniard insists confidence in the camp is high after they stretched their unbeaten run to seven games with the 2-0 victory at The Hawthorns.

"It's always nice when the team is defending well and we keep a clean sheet," Reina told the Liverpool Echo.

"But I just want to win matches and I'd take a 2-1 for us every time.

"After beating West Brom everyone is happy. The team is playing really well so we are confident.

"We know that if we are playing to our level not many teams will beat us so we have to keep that level up.

"We just want to keep the momentum going and keep playing the same as we are now."
