The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                      Bump.

I seem to be a frequent critic of Pepe lately which is a bit unexpected as I absolutely love the guy , but..............

his dip in form over the past couple of seasons has been alarming!

What the hell was he doing for their goal yesterday?

He appeared to follow Odemwinge's eyes rather than the ball, which is just amateurish goalkeeping

I realise other's were more at fault for yesterday's goal, but still I would have backed the Pepe Reina of the Rafa era to have saved that one without a doubt.

We've probably got bigger problems in our team at present, but Reina's dip in form still needs to be addressed ASAP for me. Is it Achteburg? It does seem to have coincided with him coming in as goalkeeping coach. Perhaps he's too pally with Pepe and doesn't push him enough? Could it be Reina has fell into the comfort zone as he has no competition for his place?

Whatever it is it needs to be addressed. We used to have just about the best keeper in the league. Right now I just can't say that's the case

Another game where he has one or two shots to save and lets one in.

Seems to take two shots on target, maximum, for the opposition to score. Dunno what the answer is but he's nowhere near what he was a couple of years ago...basically since Rafa & Xavi Valero left.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

He made a great save in the first half, which, if anything, was the better shot, so I don't know what's happened.

This is the key for me

I think he had such high standards previously and his form has obviously dipped

2 years ago he'd probably have saved that and many more of those hes conceeded this season

Sometimes you have to give a Striker credit though. He showed a bit of composure, and put the keeper on his arse, which is something we've seen nothing of from our forward line this season.

I thought Odemwingie could've placed it in either corner, so it was a case of which way Pepe was going to dive. Was his anticipation and reading of Odemwingie wrong? I don't know.
